Account data

When you create a ChangeBam account we store the details you give us, such as your name and email address, together with the monitors you configure, so we can run the service and send the alerts you ask for.

Cookies we always set

auth-token keeps you signed in, and theme remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. The site cannot work without them, so they are not covered by the cookie choice below.

Google Analytics

On changebam.com we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages visitors use. It sets the _ga and _ga_<id> cookies, which last up to two years, and sends page and interaction data to Google. The signed-in app does not load Google Analytics.

Visitors from regions that require consent (such as the EU, UK, and Switzerland) are asked first, and Google Analytics stays off until they accept. Elsewhere it is on by default. In every region a browser Global Privacy Control signal is honored as a refusal. Rejecting deletes the analytics cookies. Your choice is stored for one year in the analytics_consent cookie.
